The Ultra Codeplug is packed with data that saves you hours of programming time. If I had to look for and save the data that is in the Codeplug I would still be trying to find all that data. A real time saver.

Very good workshop. Explanation of the programming and radio details made it very understandable for someone who is new to DMR. Only issue was the sound from Ron's end. It was very hard to understand. Sounded like he was in a muffled echo chamber. Looking forward to other workshops.
Shipping was extremely fast, radio arrived with all of the associated parts like the bluetooth PTT switch, programming cable, charge base, etc. I couldn't even tell it was B stock other than the LCD protective film not being there. Great quality and great price!
I like that the mic has a secure clip, and that it pivots for any position. The earphone feature makes it easier to hear transmissions in noisy environments, such as parades, or other public events. Reasonably priced is a great bonus.

The 578 is somewhat quirky in setting up. The training course and BridgeCom support are a huge help in getting the radio setup correctly. Don’t rush the process.
Good sounding but vary complicated to program
I really appreciate winning the giveaway, but I don't see allot of use for the Ultimate Code Plug without Bridgecomm's Hotspot. I have built a Chinese Dual Hotspot. I changed all the Hotspot frequencies to mine, but maybe I'm missing something, but I think there Ultimate Code Plug was designed for there Hotspot. Nice radio though. Now I have two.
