I am a "tech person" but, it is really nice to literally open up the box of goodies, power everything up and be on the air within minutes. The Training course is designed well with short-ish snippets to get you going and deeper into what your equipment can do.
I use mine with my Anytone 878 and receive excellent audio reports. Nice crisp sound on receive as well.
