Hello. Is this codeplug designed exclusively for use with the Skybridge device, or is is also useful for those without skybridge?

Is this delivered as a download or how to I obtain the codeplug after I purchase it?
If a super code plug is loaded into d578uv, can I talk as I go cross country or from let’s say from NY to Florida? Are there repeaters from across the country, state by state,preprogrammed ?
