I am a "tech person" but, it is really nice to literally open up the box of goodies, power everything up and be on the air within minutes. The Training course is designed well with short-ish snippets to get you going and deeper into what your equipment can do.
The Nagoya NA-701 8-Inch Whip (144/430Mhz) Antenna is a Great upgrade. BridgeCom mailed it to me the same day I ordered.it.
