My first DMR radio. I have been a fusion guy for years, using wires X and hotspots. I was curious about DMR and learning about what is a code plug. Looking around at all the radios from all the vendors, I chose BridgeCom. Their support and knowledge base has made my journey into DMR a heck of a lot easier. Don't get me wrong, it was a lot to learn. I have only scratched the surface of all of the capabilities built into the 878. It has been interesting. Quality is top notch, a good radio to add to my collection.

Who wants to haul around a desk charger when you're backpacking or camping, right? Hey, what about using your radio in the Jeep? The USB-C chargeable battery is "perfect" for all of these! You can charge it in the tent, or on the road! It's "perfect"!

AND, they put the port in the right spot - ON THE BOTTOM!
So, you can have the cable charging it while you drive and use it! Some vendors put the charging port on the back, which makes for an awkward situation when placing your radio in a phone holder or radio mount in the vehicle. BUT ... like with everything else, Bridgecom thinks of these things in advance!

I plan to buy a couple more of these batteries ...

With bluetooth, it connects to the system in my Jeep. I can be listening to music, and when I get a radio call, it switches over! The remote bluetooth key button that I mounted on the steering wheel is "awesome" for talking going down the road!
