Greaat radio for the mobile 00 Analog and DMR.

Thanks to the support and learning videos from BCU, i was able to load my 878 codeplug (which is my own) made some changes and it worked straight away in my 578. I made a few analog 2m repeater QSOa and got good reports with a simple magmount antenna. Made my 1st DMR contacts from the mobile and I am very pleased w the radio. This follows a recent purchase of the 878uvii HT from BC. It took me a few months to finally get a handle on DMR but BC made it simple. I'm very glad I went w BC and the 578 mobile. BC rocks in my book and they are only a call away for support. Charlie C k2cmc

        amazing radio

This radio is awesome. It covers 2m, 220 and 440 plus digital which I haven't even tried yet. The code plug programming was definitely confusing only because I had never built one before and finding a youtube video for beginners is nonexistent. However, Bridgecom has a video that shows you step by step how to program it which turned out to be pretty easy. The only thing disappointing about this radio is that it only transmits 5 watts on 220.

Really like the radio. Moving my codeplug from my Anytone 878 to the 578 was really easy. Just needed to change the power setting from High to Toubo manually on some channels. I have 503 Channels and 29 Zones in my codeplug.
