Very impressive

I’m new to dmr and wanted (and like) to have a nice radio. This was a dual purpose purchase for me, a dive into dmr, and an upgrade to my 2m and 440 ht. Wow, am I impressed! The programming software is good, the folks at Bridgecom have excellent videos to guide you through setup and codeplug writing. I opted to write my own and after watching the video it was a breeze. I’ve yet to dive into some of the deeper functions of the radio like aprs, but I’m sure it will work flawlessly. The screen is awesome, the colors are easy to look at and you can customize your view through the software very easily. The transmit audio is great, I’ve received compliments on how well it sounds on the air on both digital and analog, one tip here is to turn up your mic gain right away and adjust as needed. The on board speaker is amazing. Not tinny sounding, and really gives good fidelity to received audio. The battery life is great, I took this with me to work earlier this week, 14 hours in the car, a 30 minute digital qso, on the entire time receiving, and the battery was still showing 3 bars and 8 volts. If you’re thinking about ordering this radio just stop and order it, you won’t be disappointed!
