You basically have to buy this one.

I tried buying many of the ones on Amazon, and none of them worked with the anytone handheld, despite being advertised to work with them.

This one works, and that's what matters. I do wish they had it available on Amazon though. So I could have taken advantage of the fast shipping.

Purchase and delivery were easy and simple. The cable showed up and worked perfectly, solving my problems of being unable to properly program the radio.

Great radio

I have had the uv878plus for several years now. I found it to be an excellent radio with a lot of capabilities. It uses a code plug programming system which means that as soon as you get your radio, another ham could send you his code plug if he is in your area. Load his code plug with the local repeters already programed and you are off and running in minutes. not only that but you have a working code plug so you can see how the programing is done when you want to make changes.
The build quality from Anytone is great and the audio is also. I would suggest that you get BridgeCom Systems to sell you a NAGOYA AA771 upgrade antenna to go with it. It is outstanding and really brings the radio much better range and receive.
