Like the added features

Confusing

I ordered the AT-D578UVIIIPLUS but apparently, you sent an AT-D578UVIIIPRO. It seems as though the radio is wrong or the naming convention is confusing. The training course isn't for the Plus.

This course needs revission

After taking some of the course I feel revission is in order. Just because dmr is dmr radio to radio is not the information i was looking for. You need a complete video on just the 578 not as it is now by using the ht 878 demo talking about the 578 mobile. Showing the 578 directly can clesr up many questions folks have. Hope that helps some. Im not trying to be critical as im an outsider and see things from a different perspective. De n2fep

Pleased with purchase

Though I have only had the AT D578 UVIII Plus for a few weeks, I am very pleased to have purchased it.
Converting and transferring the code plug from my AT 878 UVII was straight forward following the video on BridgeCom. Not everything transfers but it is easy to add the necessary changes and additions in the code plug.
I mounted it in the storage compartment under the floor in the back of my SUV. The Anytone BT-01 I purchased works great with this setup. My radio is secure and out of sight yet I have full access to the functionality. The AT 578UVIII Plus can also be removed in a few minutes so I can use it as a base station.
As always, the purchase process and after sale support from BridgeCom is outstanding.

Good overall course

It's a.pretty good orientation for DMR and will set you up with the basics needed to get started on the world of DMR.
