How to Enable/Disable the AnyTone Volume Bar

How to Enable/Disable the AnyTone Volume Bar

Hi everyone, this is Cody from BridgeCom Systems.

In this video, I'm going to show you how to enable or disable the volume indicator bar on your AnyTone.

Okay, so now we're over here on the computer.

So first up, open up your CPS, make sure your radio is plugged in and turned on.

Go ahead and select it in the Comm Port settings.

Then you wanna read from your radio.

Just go ahead and read the other data.

There we go.

Now what we wanna do is open up Optional Settings, then go to Alert Tone.

Now down here, it says Volume Change Prompt.

Now, currently it's set to On, but if we want to disable this feature, we can change it to Off, or vice versa.

Then say OK.

Now you want to select the Comm Port setting.

And then just write to the radio.

Write the other data.

And there we go, it's that simple.

Let's go try it out.

So as you can see on the radio, we can now change the volume knob without any sort of prompt interrupting our screen.

But some of you, you may have this disabled from the factory, or you may have accidentally disabled it along the way from a codeplug you downloaded, something like that.

And you want to enable it, it's the exact same procedure.

So that's it for now, hopefully this video was helpful to you.
