"Excellent DMR. The AnyTone AT-D878UVll Plus is an
excellent DMR radio. I am new to DMR and the free
Bridgecom University course was a fantastic resource."
What's the best way to properly operate your radio in DMR? Watch as Sebastian, KBØTTL, responds to frequently asked questions concerning DMR etiquette!
Now that you're getting to know how to handle a talkgroup in DMR, let's get you fitted with a radio.
Sebastian, thank you for the interesting and informative video. I like the part about logbook. I have a question: When you log your contact in LOTW or eQSL, how do log them as ? ( Digital contact ? DMR contact ?..ect..). and what frequency/band do you specify ? (you band to the repeaster ?,..what about hotspot ?)
Thank your and 73,

How do you Disconnect from the talk group
I noticed in the demo that Sebastian did that he doesn’t leave pauses between his transmission. A 2 or 3 second pause allows those that want to leave The Talk group to kerchunk out. he leaves no space in many cases before he keys back with his transmission making it difficult for anybody to get a space in which took a chunk off of the Tom group just an observation.
Good information. A lot of users just aren’t sure how to properly use DMR, whether logs are required, etc., and your demo certainly showed us the way you “old timers” on radio operate.
Love DMR, sold my HF radio and run my own hotspot. Life is good!
