Pretty close to perfect

This radio is of great interest to hams, since it is the latest advance in DMR/analog dual band radios. It is an excellent value. The CPS programming software is pretty good, keeping in mind that programming DMR radios is a bit complicated the first go. The manual is adequate but is the main weakness of this package, since for new users there is not enough information on a lot of features. Despite this annoyance, the radio is one you will like. It is lightweight with the smaller batter available as an extra item and I like it for most uses; the battery that comes with it has a very long battery life on a charge. My bottom line is that this is the DMR/analog radio to buy. It may well replace my Motorola HT.
