Worth every penny!
I am a "tech person" but, it is really nice to literally open up the box of goodies, power everything up and be on the air within minutes. The Training course is designed well with short-ish snippets to get you going and deeper into what your equipment can do.

How to get a Vanity Callsign | How to Change your Callsign to Something Different
Ever dreamed of having a call sign that's as unique as you are? Imagine your personalized radio handle, a digital badge that sets you apart from the sea of numbers and letters.
I've been there; let me tell you, it's an experience you won't forget.
Ready to see for yourself? Put on your glasses because you're about to get an insider on how I did it.
If you're a visual learner like me, you'll definitely love this YouTube video. Watch as Cody W3AMG walks you through the step-by-step process of getting a vanity call sign on the FCC website. It's like getting a custom license plate for your radio but with a whole lot more personality.
Did you know it can take about 18 days to get one? It's a small price to pay for a truly unique identifier. But here's how you can speed up through the choosing portion:
Make it easy to remember and spell.
Use your name, initials, or call sign.
Be creative and unique.
Avoid using offensive or vulgar language.
Here are the steps involved in getting a vanity call sign:
Go to the FCC website and click the "Licensing Information" tab.
Click "Amateur Radio" and "Amateur Radio License Information."
Scroll down to the "Vanity Call Signs" section and click "Apply for a Vanity Call Sign."
Fill out the application form and submit it.
Pay the application fee of $10.
Wait for the FCC to process your application.
Once your application is approved, you can use your new vanity call sign.
In addition to the steps above, here are some other things to keep in mind when applying for a vanity call sign:
Before applying for a vanity call sign, you must have an active amateur radio license.
Your vanity call sign must be available for use. You can check the FCC's database of vanity call signs to see if your desired call sign is available.
You can only apply for one vanity call sign at a time.
You must wait at least 90 days after your current vanity call sign expires before applying for another one.
