Do you have a cup holder mount for this radio?

Quick-start instructions need addition

Radio works fine, but assumptions as to use and radio display causes confusion. For those of us with no 220 repeaters in the area there needs to be explicit direction to turn off the default -1.6 MHz offset. With simplex frequencies there’s no display indication that the negative offset is still in effect, yet the unit will not transmit.

Very satisfied

I've been on 220 using "brand x". I am using this radio in my shack. After buying this radio, I was able to successfully participate in a weekly simplex net in my area for the first time. The receiver on this radio is far superior to the inexpensive Chinese radios on the market. I got several reports that the audio is fantastic.
Get the software and cable, programming is intuitive and easy.

Great radio!

I got rid of my Alinco DR-235's for these radios! A much higher quality radio! Excellent in digital modes!

BCM-220

I normally don't write many reviews. After 45 years being a ham, I have had many radios. These days it takes a lot to impress me. I must say the BCM-220 Impresses me. It is as good if not better than the big three. The transmit audio is excellent! especially for a hand mic. The receive audio is extremely clean and loud with the front speaker. The radio is very easy to program either manual or with the software which I have. This radio has a commercial grade feel. I have used commercial grade radios not build as well as the BCM-220. The radio and hand mic are built extremally heavy duty. Sensitivity and selectivity is super. Matter of fact I am so impressed I'm getting the BCM-144. For the price and what you get, there is no better deal anywhere.
