It, kind of worked out of the box

I'm not happy that a $125 cable I bought, which should have worked correctly out of the box, I had to alter just for it to work correctly. So, I bought the cable thinking that all I needed to do was plug it into my "BCR-40DU" repeater. Yes, that worked, but after connecting to the URI I noticed that everything was really quiet. I contacted bridgecom tech support, left a message, and never heard back. I ended up opening the cable ends to find there were a couple of 3.3k resistors on one of the ends. I un-soldered them and soldered the cables directly to the posts, put everything back together, and hooked it back up. WOW, the audio levels were much louder! This fixed the problem. I'm not sure why bridgecom thought there needed to be 3.3k resistors on the audio in and out.

TL:DR - I bought a $125 cable, and the audio in/out was really low, had to remove two 3.3k resistors, audio in/out was much louder.

Plug and play - worked like a charm!

Plugged it into my DMK URI from my old repeater and it worked like a charm!
