Programming cable for the Buddy FRS handheld Radio. Will NOT work with AnyTone Radios, this is a chipped cable!
Used to customize radio settings (Squelch, TOT, VOX, read/write password, scan mode, battery save mode, beep on/off) and channel settings (Privacy tones, scan add, busy lock, compander).
Licensed amateur radio operators can also use the amateur version of the CPS to program UHF amateur radio frequencies into the radio.*
